Discounts can be applied at item level or order level depending on your POS configuration. This guide covers both manual and promotional discount types.

Only cashiers with discount permissions can apply manual discounts. Check your role settings if the option is greyed out.
Types of Discounts Available
- check_circle Percentage discount
- check_circle Fixed amount discount
- check_circle Promotional coupon code
- check_circle Complimentary (manager only)
- check_circle Happy hour auto-discount
To apply a discount, open the active order and tap the Discount icon on the order summary panel. Select the discount type and enter the value or coupon code. The total will update instantly.

Discounts applied after payment processing cannot be reversed without a manager override.
